The Turkish born and Paris based designer Azzedine Alaia is a stand out among todays designers. He never shows on schedule and his collections are timeless. His dress, coats, shirts and rarely pants are a kind of sculptural shell that wraps around the human body. The fabrics are superb! And his shoes – They are so much to die for. In this section I am going to inform you about my favorite Alaia pieces and some pricing issue!

4 flat sandals to wear this summer that are not Birkenstock style sandals

Bulky Birkenstock style sandals are so trending this summer! They come slightly oversized just looking like you have effortlessly slipped into your boyfriends shoes. From the very beginning of the trend I knew that this is just made for me and blends so well with my wardrobe. I bought a pair of Gizeh Birks but sadly missed my beloved Céline sliders with the purple sole and the black silk ribbon, looking just like a beautiful Japanese kimono knot on the top of the foot. However, with the summer holidays ahead and the end of season sale running I also think that its important to see whats cool this season beyond the Birkenstock style sandals:
